The Nurse Practitioners see patients in Nurse Led Clinics across three sites. The role of the Nurse Practitioner is a new concept in General Practice, they work alongside the doctors. They will see on a daily basis all patients who present with a condition/ailment that cannot wait until the first available appointment to see a GP. The Nurse Practitioners also carry out Practice Nurse duties

The Practice Nurse has clinics Mon-Fri (except Thu afternoon). An appointment should be made with the Nurse if you need immunisations, BP checks, cervical smears, dressings, blood samples, ear syringing etc. The Nurses also hold various other clinics eg Travel Clinics, Asthma/Diabetes/IHD/Hypertension/Smoking Cessation and many more
Anne-Marie Lonsdale (f)

Anne-Marie joined the Practice Team on 8.7.17 as a Practice Nurse.

Healthcare Assistants

Clinics are held at Shiney Row and Fence Houses surgeries taking bloods, BPs, new patient medicals, smoking cessation and flu vaccinations.

Lynn has completed her training and is now a fully qualified Health Care Assistant.

Phlebotomists

Some of the medical admin team are fully trained and hold clinics for ECG tests, spirometry testing and taking bloods. All staff are fully trained
